The CJU Sponsor Resource Center contains important information and answers to frequently asked questions for our signed sponsors and exhibitors.? Important Deadlines & Deliverable Dates

  • Sponsor information and logos are due two weeks upon signing agreement
  • April 28 - Early bird registration opens

Shipping to Hilton Santa Barbara:

All Growth Expo exhibitors and Dedicated Meeting Table sponosrs must ship their CJU20 parcels so that they arrive on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, 2020. The hotel cannot receive items before these dates and items that do not arrive by September 12, 2020 may not be available for pick up in the Los Olivos Boardroom 

When shipping parcels to the Hilton Santa Barbara, please be sure to: 

  • Address all packages to yourself with your company name.
  • Include event service manager’s name on all packages as “C/O PAULA RAMIREZ”.
  • Place the conference name along with the number of the parcel and the total number shipped on each item.

CJ Universe

As an exhibitor or sponsor of CJU20, one of your benefits is a detailed company profile page within CJ Universe, the CJU20 social community. For additional exposure, we’d like to offer you the opportunity to join CJ Universe before other attendees, so you can update your company profile page before we launch CJ Universe in June to all registered attendees. Your sponsorship contact will be in touch approximately two weeks before we launch CJ Universe with steps to update your profile.

Growth Expo

The Growth Expo provides an opportunity to showcase your brand at CJU's exhibition event.  

What we provide:  

  • Table 
    • Premium: 6’ x 2’ with two chairs
    • Standard: 4’ x 2’ with two chairs
    • Standard: 3' x 2' with one chair
  • Branded tabletop signage
  • Power
    • Included for Premium tables
    • $150 additional fee for Standard tables

What you can bring:

  • Pop up banner
  • Swag and collateral
  • Tabletop signage

No backdrops or booth type builds will be allowed at the Growth Expo. You will only be allowed to exhibit using the provided space behind your 6 foot, 4 foot, or 3 foot table.  

Growth Expo Schedule:

  • Set Up: Tuesday, Sept 15 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
  • Growth Expo Hours: Tuesday, Sept 15 from 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Tear Down: Tuesday, Sept 15 from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Tips for a successful Growth Expo: 

  1. Your table should encourage conversation.
  2. Bring swag. Great giveaways are a great conversation starter. Think reusable straws, power banks, healthy snacks (must be pre-approved by hotel), or branded notebooks. 
  3. Be prepared. Have a list of questions to ask attendees ready. 
  4. Use CJ Universe to your advantage. Post on the CJU20 App to introduce your brand and spread the word about your table.
  5. Bring collateral. One sheets, folded brochures, and iPads are great ways to share your company profile. 

Dedicated Meeting Spaces

  • Sponsorship of a four, six or eight-person table inside the designated dedicated meeting space rooms or patios
  • Branded signage with sponsors logo on table 
  • Note: Power is available for $150 additional power-drop fee

  • Set Up: Monday, Sept 14 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Dedicated Meeting Space Hours:
    • Monday, Sept 14 from 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Tuesday, Sept 15 from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Wednesday, Sept 16 from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Thursday, Sept 17 from 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Tear Down: Thursday, Sept 17 from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Note: Dedicated Meeting Spaces may be closed on Tuesday morning for the Keynote (9:00 AM - 10:15 AM)

Yes. Being the main contact on the exhibit/sponsorship does not automatically register you as an attendee.   Anyone attending CJU must also register as an attendee. Please note that CJU is a sell-out event. We recommend registering all team members by July 31st

The hotel/venue requires that all food and beverage distributed by attendees, exhibitors or sponsors is to be purchased from the hotel/venue directly.  If you would like to purchase food or beverage, please email your sponsorship contact.  Branded, pre-packaged food giveaways at your Growth Expo or Dedicated Meeting Tables are permissible.  

Shipping instructions are listed on the Sponsor Resource Center Page. Please note that the shipping window is time sensitive and very specific, so be sure to adhere to the guidelines to avoid missing shipments. For more information on shipping, please see the Shipping Information section.

Certain sponsorships include a guaranteed room, but the cost of the room must be covered by the sponsor. For those with guaranteed rooms, your room will automatically be set aside for you, and your sponsorship contact will reach out to process your payment. 

If you do not have a guaranteed room included in your sponsorship, you will need to book rooms at the host hotel  on May 5 at 11am PT on the Venue page of our website, or at one of our alternate hotels also listed on the Venue page. 

No. CJU has a no Suitcasing Policy. “Suitcasing” refers to the practice of attending a trade show but “working the aisles” from a suitcase or briefcase, soliciting business from other attendees and exhibitors. You may only pass out materials during meetings, at your own Growth Expo or Dedicated Meeting Table.  

Yes, we recommend your Growth Expo Table be staffed at all times. 

Yes. As a general guideline, most of the conference attendees dress business casual during the day and dress-to-impress for the  Wednesday night events. A sweater or light jacket for the evenings and hotel meeting rooms is recommended as it can get chilly. 

Your contract outlines your payment terms and payment method. If you have any questions, please reach out to your sponsorship contact. 

Yes, you will have an opportunity to build your sponsor page in CJ Universe prior to launch in late June. Instructions will be listed in the Sponsor Resource Center approximately two weeks prior to launch.
